How can I share a file resource?

File resources can be a training guide, presentation, publication, report, or a similar document.

In order to be able to share an audio resource on iConnect-Online, you must be logged in.

File resources can be any file with one of the following extensions:
Images: .jpg, .gif, .png
Microsoft Office: .txt, .doc, .xls, .pdf, .ppt, .pps
Open Office: .odt, .ods, .odp

  1. After logging in, go to the group to which you want to contribute a file resource.
  2. In the “Create Content” menu on the right-hand side of the page, click on “Create File Resource".

  2. Think of an expressive title.
  3. Briefly describe the content of your resource. This is important especially for non-picture resources, as users will base their decision on whether to download your file or not on this description.
  4. Now, please select tags and a location. This helps others to find your file resource more quickly when searching by keywords or location.
  5. You may now select other groups (of which you must be a member) where you would like to publish your resource additionally.
  6. Finally, click “preview” to view or save in order to publish your file resource.
NOTE: There is one other way to add a file resource: Click on Resources in the gray main menu on each page and then selectthe orange button to create a file resource.
