How can I create a blog?

Blogs are your personal space where you can share your thoughts, stories and ideas related to ICT4D.

In order to be able to add a blog to iConnect-Online, you must be logged in.

1. After logging in, go to the group to which you want to contribute a blog post.
2. In the “Create Content” menu on the right-hand side of the page, click on “Create Blog entry”.

   

3. Think of a title and add one or several images if you like.
4. Now, you can enter your text. Within your text, you may add pictures or embed other media (e.g. a video or slideshare). Below the text, you can specify tags and a location. This helps others to find your blog post more quickly when searching by keywords or location.
5. You may now select other groups (of which you must be a member) where you would like to publish your blog post additionally.
6. Finally, click ‘review’ to view or save in order to publish your blog within the selected groups.

NOTE: There are other ways to add a blog:
Alternative 1: Click on Resources in the gray main menu on each page and then select the orange button to share a blog.

Alternative 2: Click on tell a story on the top right-hand corner underneath your profile picture.
